The Neis Insurance Agency is an Independent Agency
focusing on Chicago area clients. It was originally founded in
1962 with an emphasis on Northern Illinois banks. In 1980, Neis
Insurance reincorporated in order to operate in property, casualty,
life, and health insurance. This was also when its present principal,
Tom Neis, took the helm. In 1985, Tom Neis and Wife Marilyn purchased
the Anson Longaker Insurance Agency located in Crystal Lake,
Illinois. In 2004, Tom and Marilyn purchased the Pacchini
Insurance Agency in Carpentersville, Illinois. Then in 2005,
they purchased another Carpentersville agency, Parr Insurance.
The Neis Insurance Agency has experienced a tremendous
increase in growth not only in the local area but
across the country. Since 1990, Neis Insurance has
gone from handling $4 million in business to $14.
million.
Its recent rapid growth notwithstanding, Neis Insurance
Agency still prides itself on keeping a strong relationship
with its clientele. Over the last ten years the
agency has retained 93% of its clients while still
managing to expand in the small-business, contractor,
church, and individual policy sectors.
